Connie Tremblay
Connie, a fourth generation Coloradan, is a real estate broker at The Van Gundy Group, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Licensed since 1995, Connie began her real estate career in Fort Morgan, Colorado where she was a top producer and, as part of a small community, established lasting relationships with each of her valued clients. Since reassembling her business in Grand Junction in 2010, Connie has continued to be actively and personally engaged with each buyer and seller, building strong relationships that last well beyond the closing.
A highlight of Connie's professional career was when she was approached personally by Oliver Frascona to teach for him at his firm. She started her teaching career under his guidance in 2013 before his untimely passing. Seeing others through teaching has been a great source of joy for Connie, and a forum where her innate talents and skills for education come to life. A gifted presenter and natural-born teacher, she thrives on turning required - often boring and mundane material into interesting and applicable subjects that participants enjoy learning, understanding and implementing into their own professional business practices. By actively engaging each individual group of participants through laughter, comedy and group participation, Connie personalizes the learning process and provides an experience that is interesting, fun and rewarding. In Connie's own words, "My greatest teaching moment is seeing the light come on in a student's eyes as legal words transform into something tangible, something applicable to real life that helps improve their business practices and fuel their individual success. It's the most rewarding part of what I do and keeps me coming back for more!"
The most recent addition to Connie's repertoire has been motivational speaking around the topic of change and what the human brain does when one is faced with a change. Having experienced dramatic personal and professional changes over her life, she brings a fresh perspective of hope and encouragement to a topic that is often surrounded by negative emotions. With her trademark humor and ability to speak directly to an issue, Connie gives attendees tools, hacks and hope when faced with a change in life- be that a desired change or a life event out of one's control. Change is inevitable and these tools give us the impact needed to take it in the desired direction.
In her spare time, Connie enjoys traveling, both domestically and internationally, camping, hiking, jeeping and in 2020, she discovered her love of painting abstract art. She is an avid reader and she works closely with community organizations that serve women in need. A favorite pastime and passion is traveling throughout the United States finding isolated places to camp with her dog. Her travels have taken her from coast to coast, including extended trips through New Mexico, Nevada, Arizona, California, Texas, and as far away as South America; it was there, in 2010, that she participated in a humanitarian trip to build water purification systems and medical clinics for villages throughout Columbia, Brazil and Peru. Inspired by her late grandfather, Connie took up abstract art painting in 2021.
Connie greets life with humor, a gift she imparts to all those around her and the skill she brings to bear in all personal and professional endeavors. As a broker and instructor, Connie believes that every step in listing, selling or buying a home - or learning new material is necessary for business growth and success. It should be one of the greatest experiences of one's life, and she makes enjoyment of the process a number one priority with each of her valued clients and students.
